Minic Precision Inc. specializes in the precision machining of various geometries of custom jack screws. Some of the many styles we offer are internally threaded, externally threaded, knurled and over molded. We use state of the art Swiss Screw Machines like Tornos, Bechler and Citizen to manufacture our custom jack screws.

We manufacture our jack screws from hardened materials which can effectively withstand extreme loads. The lifespan of these screws is dependant on whether or not they are properly threaded. Burr-free, small micro threads are produced quickly through the thread whirling process. Our CNC Swiss turning machines are capable of carrying out the delicate thread whirling process.

Jack screws are commonly used to mount electronic connectors. They are a vital component to electrical assemblies because they simplify installation and ensure securely fastened construction. Threaded jack screws maintain strong and rigid mounts during vibrations. Over molded jack screws provide a reliable, solid and grounded interface for video adapter assemblies.

Jack screws are available with diameters ranging from 0.010 to 1.00 inches and lengths ranging from 0.010 to 10.00 inches. Other jack screw specifications include tight tolerance values of ± 0.0001 inches and surface finishes to 16 micro. The processes employed to machine our jack screws are CNC Swiss turning, CNC milling, cold heading and CAM Swiss automatic lathing.
