Minic Precision Inc. offers medical and dental precision machining services. We have the capacity to easily manufacture small and accurate parts with complex dimensions. We can help with the design of specialty components for this demanding industry, custom machining everything from bone screws to dental instruments.

CNC Swiss turning machines are ideal for the production of surgical pins, watch screws, small valves, micro-machined parts and orthopedic bone screws. CNC machines incorporate CAD/CAM capabilities that ensure rapid prototyping of parts from computer designed patterns. Our Swiss automatic screw machines perform precise lathing, turning and machining of parts to any dimensions.

Bone screws resemble typical screws, but are inserted into pre-drilled holes in bones. Dental mini-screws are used in braces as orthodontic anchors. Surgical pins are used as temporary or permanent solutions to orthopedic fractures and tears. The pitch, thread and root diameter are all critical parameters for the effective operation of these medical and dental parts. They must be precisely machined in order for them to function properly.

Our products are made from materials that follow stringent quality guidelines such as 303 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, 440 stainless steel and titanium. The processes employed to machine our custom medical and dental products are CNC Swiss turning, CNC milling, cold heading and CAM Swiss automatic lathing.

Medical and dental instruments used in surgeries and diagnostic processes are supplied in varied dimensions. They are available in diameters ranging from 0.010 to 1.00 inches and lengths ranging from 0.010 to 10.00 inches. Other medical and dental product specifications include tight tolerance values of ± 0.0001 inches surface finishes to 16 micro.
